Saudi- Tabuk Border Guards Foiled Attempt to Deliver as many as 700 Thousand Amphetamine Tablets

Riyadh, Dhu-AlQa'dah 5, 1438, Jul 28, 2017, SPA -- Border Guards of Amlaj sector of Tabuk region has thwarted on Thursday, deliverance of a large quantity of amphetamine tablets across the sea, following suspecting plastic pipes, some of which appeared on the surface of the sea and tied up to a coral reef, near Amlaj sector.
The guards' teams were immediately surrounded the site, while naval patrols and the divers were tasked with combing the site and intensifying the search.
Four plastic pipes were found on both sides, with a total of 372 plastic bags containing more than 700,000 tablets of Amphetamine anesthetic (Captagon), and referred seizures to the competent authorities to complete formal procedures.
