Saudi Arabia Funds Health Care Project, in Qairaouan, Tunisia

Tunis, Dhu-AlQa'dah 5, 1438, Jul 28, 2017, SPA -- The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia funded the construction and equipping of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Hospital, in Qairaouan, Tunisia, worth $ 85 million through the Saudi Fund for Development.
The agreement was signed at the end of the ninth session of the Saudi-Tunisian Joint Committee here today by the Tunisian Minister of Development, Investment and International Cooperation, who is also the Acting Minister of Finance Mohamed Al-Fadhel Abdelkafi and Managing Director of the Saudi Fund for Development Eng. Yousef Ibrahim Al Bassam.
During the meeting, the Kingdom and Tunisia signed eight cooperation and financing agreements, including loan and gift agreements, work programs and memorandums of understanding, including a memorandum of understanding between Tunisia and the Saudi Fund for Development on the program of export and export of goods and services for government projects, in Tunisia for a total of $ 200 million.
