HADHRAMAUT, 27th July, 2017 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, on Thursday continued to distribute urgent food supplies to underprivileged families and people with special needs in the Yemeni Directorate of Tarim as part of the UAE relief programme to alleviate the suffering of the people in the country.
Mohammed Al Muhairi, Head of the ERC team in Hadhramaut, said the assistance would meet the basic needs of the families that are experiencing difficult economic conditions due to the ongoing events in the country.
"We will continue our relief programmes in order to reach as many needy people as possible in Hadhramaut," he affirmed.
Yemeni officials thanked the ERC for providing much-needed relief assistance to the disadvantaged in Yemen.
