Bollywood actor Inder Kumar of 'Masoom' dies

Actor Inder Kumar, seen in films from 'Tirchhi Topiwale' (1998) to Wanted (2009), passed away early in the morning today.

The 43-year-old actor suffered from a heart attack at his Andheri residence Four Bungalows at around 2am.

He was currently shooting for his next, 'Phati Padi Hai Yaar'.

The cremation is scheduled in the evening at Mumbai's Yari Road Shamshaan Bhoomi.


A controversy-filled 20-year career
Films


In a 20-year career, Inder has worked in over 20 films, including in 'Masoom' (1996), 'Kahi Pyar Na Ho Jaaye' (2000), 'Maa Tujhhe Salaam' (2002), 'Paying Guests' (2009) and 'Yeh Dooriyan' (2011).

He also played Mihir Virani temporarily in 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'.

However, there have been controversies too: in 2014, he was arrested for rape. He has maintained he is innocent.
