(MENAFN) RUSSIA has slammed new US sanctions against Moscow amid an investigation into Russian meddling in the US election and possible links to the Trump campaign. Here are the the latest updates on Russia and Donald Trump.
The bill passed by a vote of 419-3 on Tuesday strengthens sanctions against Russia.
The measure, which now goes to the Senate, requires Trump to seek congressional approval before easing sanctions imposed under the Obama administration for Russian meddling in the 2016 elections.
The White House has not been clear about whether Trump will sign the bill.
The Kremlin has said that the proposed new US sanction are an extremely unfriendly act and very sad news for Russia-Us relations.
