When hashtag united Qataris, Saudis

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) A hashtag on a Qatari child who got lost in Turkey brought together Qataris and Saudis on Twitter recently, as many of them shared a picture of the child and hoped that he is recovered quickly and reunited with his family.
Minutes after the photograph was posted on Twitter around 5pm last Saturday, with his parents urging people to look for him, many Saudis and Qataris tweeted their support for the family and extended their wishes and prayers for his recovery, according to local Arabic daily Arrayah.
The child was found within less than 24 hours near a mosque in Ankara.
Despite the ongoing siege of Qatar by the Saudi-led bloc, the hashtag united Qataris and Saudis for the sake of the child, the daily noted.
Some even posted images and sketches calling for unity among the people and promoting mutual love and friendship, showing that citizens of the two countries enjoy deep-rooted family relations.
