(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 26 (KUNA) -- Patients will be granted immediate and urgent access to medical supplies through a new healthcare strategy, said Kuwait's Minister of Health on Wednesday.
Dr. Jamal Al-Harbi made the remarks after an impromptu visit to a local hospital, where he listened to grievances of patients over how exhaustive the process of obtaining medical aid can be.
The minister highlighted the need to go back to the drawing board, saying a new healthcare plan will be unveiled after his scheduled meeting with officials from across the health spectrum.
He pointed out that change was on the horizon, where all hospitals and medical centers would be fully equipped and ready to administer aid properly and efficiently. (end) tms.nam
