Pakistan- MMA's restoration not to affect JI's stance on Fata reforms

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) JAMRUD, 26 July: Restoration of religious political parties' alliance 'Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal' (MMA) would not affect Jamaat-e-Islami's (JI) stance on Fata reforms, JI Khyber Agency chapter leaders said on Wednesday.
Addressing a news conference in Jamrud press club, JI leaders Shah Faisal Afridi, Hassan Shinwari, Zarnor Afridi and others said that the political party under the leadership of Sirajul Haq would soon hold sit-in in Jamrud against the delay in Fata reforms implementation.
It is pertinent to mention here that Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) has started efforts for the restoration of MMA in KP. However, they have differences with Jamaat-e-Islami on several issues including Fata reforms. JI is in favor of merging Fata with KP whereas, JUI-F want referendum in tribal areas to decide fate of Fata.
