4.2 magnitude quake strikes coast off Latakia, Syria
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, July 26 (KUNA) -- A 4.8-magnitude earthquake struck Latakia city near the coast of Syria on Wednesday, according to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) said the quake was about 35 km southwest of Latakia city. (end) tk.haq
