(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- In coincidence with the sultanate's celebration of the Renaissance Day, Information Technology Authority (ITA) started its participation at Salalah Tourism Festival 2017 in its corner at the Municipality Entertainment Centre. Its participation will continue till August 23.
Through its participation at the festival, ITA seeks to achieve a number of objectives notably to encourage the use of eGovernment Services and promoting the services provided by some government entities to various sectors of the society including the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Education. ITA also seeks to promote some of its centres and initiatives including the National Digital Certification Centre, Oman National CERT and the Online Donations Portal.
ITA will also conduct training programmes and workshops on information technology at several Omani women's centres.
