This year we upgraded the sound system so we can host bigger nightly parties on the playa than ever before. We are fundraising to make this Enchanted Kingdom a reality. Celtic Chaos are BACK on the Playa and partying up a storm in Black Rock Citythis year. After a year off we are ready to bring back the music and the mighty ol' craic with this year's theme camp venture: ‘Enchanted Kingdom'.Celtic Chaos is a community of like-minded, electronic music loving, banter-filled folk, but it is also simply a group of hard working friends with Irish roots who have chosen to take on another creative project in their favorite city.
The group is headed up byTipperary man Billy Vaughan, who will be putting in his sixteenthyear at the Burning Man festival in 2017. After building a 70 foot Irish castle in 2013 and bringing it back to the playa for 2014 and 2015, the Celtic Chaos community has grown worldwide. Theyare a true collaboration of creative talents, with more and more of the Irish community of San Francisco and beyond getting involved every day. Electricians, painters, sound engineers, musicians,you name it have joined from all over the world.
This year Celtic Chaos are ready to show you what is beyond the castle walls and introduce you to their ‘Enchanted Kingdom'. Their world of Celtic mysticism and magic will beadomain of fairy forts, a magic toadstool, a causeway and aforest of enchantment that will leave you spellbound. Of course they wouldn't be Celtic Chaos without a touch o'blarney…you can expect a mighty good session and EPIC SOUND.
As luck would have it theyhave been given a prime spot again (10:00 and DANCE)!!! Not only that but Celtic Chaoswill be throwing down some of their best parties yet; just wait until this year's lineup is released!
Of course, with this epic sound comes an epic sound system, which the crew are investing heavily in this year. To assist with the additional cost of this new sound system, Celtic Chaos are hoping to crowdfund $2,500 through this page. If you aren't going to make it back to the playa this year but want to participate and be a part of the Celtic Chaos family then this is the way to do it.
