OIC Condemns Suicide Attack in Lahore

Jeddah, Dhu-Al-Qa'dah 02, 1438, July 25, 2017, SPA --The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has strongly condemned the suicide bombing attack that targeted Lahore City in Pakistan, killing at least 25 people and injuring others.
The Secretary-General of the Organization Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen, expressed deep regret over the attack and offered condolence to the families of the victims, government and people of Pakistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
Al-Othaimeen reiterated OIC's principled position against all forms of terrorism and extremism, stressing the organization's solidarity with Pakistan in combating terrorism.
Finally, Al-Othaimeen urged the Pakistani concerned authorities to take all possible measures to bring the perpetrators of this cowardly act to justice.
