Minister discusses Gulf crisis with Paraguay's FM


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad al-Muraikhi yesterday received a telephone call from the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Paraguay Eladio Loizaga.
They discussed bilateral relations and means of boosting them, as well as issues of mutual interest, and the developments in the Gulf crisis.

Qatar-Syriaties reviewed
HE the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al-Hammadi met the Syrian ambassador to Qatar Nizar al-Haraki in Doha yesterday.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and means of supporting and developing them as well as issues of mutual concern.

Travellers toPeru cautioned
The government of Peru has declared a 30-day state of emergency on July 20, 2017, in six southern regions after violence broke out in Juliaca in San Romano (Puno) province, Sancho, San Sebastian, Cusco in the province of Cusco, the Machu Picchu tourist area, and Oiantaytambo area in the province of Aropamia, said an official source at the Consular Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The source urged Qatari citizens who plan to travel to these areas, especially the tourist city of Machu Picchu, to be cautious during this period until security is restored.
