Kuwait- Turkey's Pres. departs Doha, conclude tour to Gulf


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, July 24 (KUNA) -- Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan departed Doha on Monday after a one-day visit at the conclusion of his Gulf tour, which included Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

The Turkish leader and Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim Al-Thani held talks and discussed developments in the region and international arena, including the Gulf crisis and efforts exerted to find a solution through dialogue and diplomatic channels.

The two leaders also praised Kuwiat's mediation efforts to end the crisis.

In the past couple of days, President Erdogan visited Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and held official talks with leaders of both nations in order to find a solution to end the Gulf crisis. (pickup previous) nnd.mb
