UAE- Minister of Education heads meeting of United Arab Emirates National Commission for Education, Culture and Science

DUBAI, 24th July, 2017 (WAM) -- During its first meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Education in Dubai, headed by Hussain bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, the United Arab Emirates National Commission for Education, Culture and Science discussed its plans and future strategies.

The meeting included Al Hammadi's launch of the Commission's website, as a reference for information and data related to its tasks and affairs, and its activities and future directions.

At the start of the meeting, Al Hammadi welcomed the attending members while stressing that the Commission is considered an instrumental body and has great importance in supporting local and international efforts in the vital areas of education, culture and science, as well as establishing effective co-operation with relevant international organisations.

He said, "We aspire at this stage to work more professionally, and strengthen our partnerships locally and globally, which will contribute towards raising the indicators concerned with education, culture, innovation and values, as well as establishing a new platform that supports the objectives of the nation through the National Commission. Besides these, it would promote the contributions and creativity of the members, and document the deep-rooted values of the UAE community reflected in all its activities and programmes global or local."
