Yemeni Prime Minister meets directors of three international agencies

Aden, Dhu-AlQa'dah, 01 1438,July 24, 2017, SPA -- Yemeni Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Daghar met today in the Yemeni provintional capital of Aden, the Director-General of the World Health Organization Dr. Tedress Gibressus, the Executive Director of UNICEF Anthony Lake, and the Executive Director of the World Food Organization David Beesley, who are currently visiting Yemen to organize relief, humanitarian and health assistance.
During the meeting, the prime minister expressed hope that the visit of UN officials would help ease the sufferings and pains of Yemenis following the coup of the Houthi and Saleh militias against the state and the legitimate authority.
He renewed the government's request to transfer the headquarters of international organizations to Aden to work freely and easily to transport relief and humanitarian aid to all governorates without exception. He praised the generous support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the latest of which was Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's decision to appropriate $ 67 million to cope with the spread of Cholera disease in Yemen.
