Delhi: Man kills pregnant wife for not making round chappatis

22-year-old pregnant Simran was murdered by her husband as she couldn't make round chappatis. The incident occurred in Delhi's Jahangirpur area.
The victim's brother alerted cops after he found Simran lying unconscious and her four-year-old daughter locked in a room.
The husband is absconding. The daughter told cops that her parents often argued over her mother's cooking-skills.

Delhi govt empowers colleges to issue driving licenses

Delhi government will launch a new system by September wherein students can apply for driving licenses at their colleges.
The project will begin with polytechnic colleges followed by colleges like Ambedkar University. DU colleges will be included too.
To be eligible, students must be above 18 and should have scored at least 6 out of 10 marks in an online test supervised by institutions.
After initial denial, cops confirm women were raped in Jewar

Following the arrest of four people, the Noida police confirmed that four women were gang-raped during Jewar robbery.
The police became the object of severe criticism after they denied gang-rape during a press conference citing preliminary medical reports.
Four women were dragged to a nearby village and gang-raped and one person was killed while resisting robbery in Jewar in May this year.
