(MENAFN) Iran and Afghanistan posted that they have inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in order to link their rail networks.
Additionally, the approved MOU was agreed by IRIR's Managing Director as well as Afghanistan Railway Authority's Director General on the sidelines of a gathering in Tehran.
Further more, besides the building of railway between Iran"s city of Khaf and Afghanistan's city of Herat, the MOU is set to boost railway co-op between Tehran-Kabul.
