(MENAFN) India is projected to record a 7.5 percent economic increase in the recent fiscal, while creation of good jobs in the nation remains a big challenge.
Accordingly, for this year and 2018, the country will be back to at least 7.5 percent and as moving towards the last quarter of the year it will start to reach 8 percent.
However, job creation in the country, particularly at the lower, semi-skilled level, is the biggest challenge, bigger than growing at 8 percent.
Additionally, India's better performing sectors like automobile, auto parts, engineering goods, petroleum refinery are not very employment-intensive.
