Doha Bank, one of the largest private commercial banks in Qatar, yesterday announced the winners of its Al Dana savings scheme for the month of July 2017, at a draw held at the Bank's Doha Festival City branch.
The fourth monthly draw of the year crowned a total of 19 winners, including S Ali, who took home the QR1m mega prize. On the occasion: S Ali said, 'I am glad to be the winner of the QR1m. This is such a great opportunity to contribute to my community back home. I invite all the people in Qatar to save with AL DANA which might also change their lives.
N C Bhavsar was named the winner of the QR100,000 prize, while N Firdous received the Young Savers Scholarship prize worth QR25,000. Fifteen additional winners walked away with prizes worth QR10,000 each. Meanwhile, B A S Al Shatti from Kuwait was announced as the winner of the KWD2,500 prize for overseas Al Dana customers.
The prize draw was streamed live on Doha Bank's social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
'It is very gratifying to be able to contribute in making our loyal customers' dreams come true through the monthly Al Dana prize draws, said Dr R Seetharaman, CEO of Doha Bank. 'All that the customers need to do to have a chance at becoming the next millionaire is to maintain a minimum balance of QR5,000 in their Al Dana accounts of course, the more they save, the greater their chances of winning.
On top of the amazing cash prizes, Al Dana Savings Scheme offers customers a wide range of banking benefits, which include, among others, free VISA international debit card; online, SMS and mobile banking services; utility bill management through Al Dana account as well as easy fund remittance overseas at the most competitive exchange rates.
