CAPITALS —AlGhad— The Arab League called for an emergency ministerial convention of Arab foreign ministers next Wednesday to discuss the situation in the occupied city of Jerusalem and the recurrent Israeli transgressions against the Aqsa Mosque.

The Chairman of the Arab League, Ahmad Abul Gheit said in a statement today, Sunday, that Jerusalem is a red line and that the Israelis are playing with fire.

Abul Gheit also said that Israel seems hell-bent on dragging the entire region into an extremely dangerous curb, by escalating security procedures at the Aqsa Mosque.

Additionally, Abul Gheit warned Israel against following the whims of the extremist Jewish forces, who seem to be in control of Israeli politics.
