(MENAFN), Cuba announced hat it plans to generate more solar panels, with China's help, in order to develop renewable energy sources and bring electricity to remote regions.
Additionally, sources revealed that Chinese raw materials are pledging output at Cuba's solo photovoltaic panel manufacturing unit, the Ernesto Che Guevara Electronic Components.
According to the plant's director, Ivan Gonzalez, "We buy raw materials from China that are the same quality as those from the United States or Europe".
