(MENAFN) Naspers Ltd gave CEO USD10.4mn in long-term share options as Africa's largest firm by market value aims to enhance its global internet businesses amid dropping revenue.

Furthermore, the incentive comes on top of a salary of USD2.2mn in pay and bonuses for the most current fiscal year amid March.

Additionally, the pay awards correspond with a year in which the firm earnings grew by 41 percent to USD1.8bn, driven by the performance of Chinese internet firm Tencent Holdings Ltd.
