ABU DHABI, 22nd July, 2017 (WAM) -- Several of UAE's human resource professionals completed an internationally accredited training programme, under the patronage of the Zayed Humanitarian Work Academy, enabling them to participate effectively in the humanitarian missions of the country's voluntary teams in Egypt, Sudan, Tanzania, Somalia, Morocco, Mauritania and Mali.
Dr. Adel Al Shameri, Chief Executive Officer of the Zayed Giving Initiative, stressed the importance of these programmes and their positive impact on the performance of national cadres from various specialities, both in their practical lives and during their participation in the global humanitarian campaign to treat one million children and the elderly.
The Zayed Giving Initiative is keen on supporting the training programmes and humanitarian missions of the UAE Programme for Humanitarian Work through provisions of human and logistical resources in co-operation with its strategic partners, he added.
Al Shameri stated that the programme has introduced a new generation of qualified and accredited youth leaders through a certified approach and in accordance with the best international standards.
He also praised the efforts of the academy and the National Institution for Training for their efforts in supporting the programme.
