Bahrain, Malaysia strengthen defence cooperation

MANAMA, 20th July, 2017 (WAM) -- Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force, BDF, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, today received the Malaysian Minister of Defence and Minister with Special Functions, Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, and his accompanying delegation.
Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa affirmed that the visit of Malaysian Minister is aimed at strengthening military cooperation between the two friendly countries, according to the Bahrain News Agency, BNA.
He also lauded the depth of the Bahraini-Malaysian relations, and their steady progress, stressing the importance of such visits in strengthening friendship relations between them.
