Pakistan- Landikotal hospital's doctors warns of protest outside TESCO office against prolong power outages


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) LANDIKOTAL, 20 July: Doctors at Khyber Agency's Landikotal Hospital on Thursday threatened to stage a protest demonstration in the front of the Tribal Electric Supply Company (TESCO) office if unannounced and hours-long load shedding were not stopped.
Addressing a press conference, doctors said that halting supply of power to Agency Headquarter Hospital has reached to fourteen to eighteen hours per day that is unbearable.
Dr Ashiq said that the TESCO officials on pretext of arrears had been subjected them to prolonged and unscheduled load shedding on hospital feeder that not only multiplied their problems but it had been suffered the patients. He was accompanied by Dr Khyal Wali, Dr Rasim Shah, Dr Khalid Javed and others.
They blamed TESCO officer Kiramat Ullah that he had installed hospital meter in the grade station. They said that they were paying electricity monthly consumer bill regularly.
To avoid any kind of tampering the health officials asked the WAPDA and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Jhagra to take action of the issue and install the hospital electricity meter inside the premises of the health center instead of grade station.
They warned to stage a protest demonstration in front of TESCO XEN Office if their demands were not fulfilled until Monday.
