(MENAFN- AzerNews) Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Ahmadov has visited New York, the US to present the Voluntary National Review on Azerbaijan`s Sustainable Development Goals at High-Level Political Forum at UN Headquarters.
The Deputy Premier met Administrator of the Executive Board of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Achim Steiner, Azertac reported.
Ali Ahmadov briefed Achim Steiner on the steps taken by Azerbaijan to implement the new development agenda.
He spoke of the successful projects implemented by UNDP in Azerbaijan.
Achim Steiner said Azerbaijan has achieved great successes across the last years, saying UNDP attaches great importance to boosting relations with Azerbaijan.
