(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The sixth batch of Turkish troops yesterday began joint exercises and manoeuvres with Qatari armed forces. The Turkish forces are in Qatar under a defence co-operation agreement between the governments of Qatar and Turkey aimed at maintaining security and combating terrorism and extremism in the region.
