
Morocco to Open Embassy in Zambia in September
The announcement was made on Tuesday during a press conference which gathered together Boucetta and Zambian Minister of Foreign Affairs Harry Kalaba. Boucetta was touring the African continent to follow up the projects launched by King Mohammed VI in several African countries.
During her visit, the secretary of state asserted that Morocco and Zambia need to have an action plan to facilitate the implementation of the 19 agreements signed between the two countries in February. She added that Zambia-Morocco co-operation will enhance the economies and the development of the two countries.According to the news outlet Zambia Daily Mail, Boucetta said, "On February 19 to 21 the king inaugurated a new era in the relations between Morocco and Zambia in numerous fields." She went on to add that "Morocco will continue to support Zambia's socio-economic development."
The Secretary of State had also paid a visit to Ethiopia and Rwanda in order to follow up on the partnership agreements concluded during the Royal visit in 2016.
