Lebanese army to carry out operation at Syrian border
(MENAFN) Lebanese PM proclaimed that the army would carry out an operation in an area of the border with Syria that has been a base of ops for militants involving Jihadist groups.
Accordingly, the PM described the operation planned for the Juroud Arsal area as studied, proclaimed the National News Agency.
Meanwhile, the powerful Lebanese group Hezbollah and the Syrian military are ready to mount a main operation against the insurgents on the Syrian side of the frontier.
In addition, the militants in the Juroud Arsal area were predicted to reach 3.000, two-thirds of them belonging to IS or the group knew as the Nusra Front.
