(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, July 18 (KUNA) -- Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud held discussions on Tuesday with visiting Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir, which centered on the latest happenings in the region.
The talks between both officials also tackled bilateral ties, Saudi News Agency (SPA) reported.
The Sudanese President began a tour of the Gulf on Monday, which included a stop in the UAE, where an encounter with Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammd Bin Zayid Al-Nahyen delved into issues of mutual concern.
Al-Bashir arrived in Riyadh Tuesday on a three-day visit to meet with senior Saudi officials. (end) nh.nam
