Pakistan- Several development projects underway to make Peshawar modern city: Nazim


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) PESHAWAR, 18 July: Peshawar District Nazim Asim Khan on Tuesday reiterated claim to make Peshawar a modern city and said that several development projects have been launched in the city.
Talking to reporters at his office, Asim said that several development schemes are being under process in the provincial capital to make Peshawar a modern city. Counting his development schemes for the provincial capital, he said that a state of the art food street is being under construction at the Namak Mandi.
Similarly, the government's plan to revamp all the three bus terminals-Nursery Chowk Bus Stop, Haji camp bus stop and Board Bus Stop- and upgraded to modern bus terminal equipped with all facilities and located opposite the general bus stand in the provincial capital.
He further said that a milk-testing laboratory was established in the city to counter the grave problem of adulteration in milk in Peshawar.
He also promised to provide basic facilities worth of RS 40 million to primary schools and construct sports complex at every town of the Peshawar.
