Renault's sales rise in H1 by 10.4%


(MENAFN) The second largest automaker in France, Renault, reported growth in its sales during H1 of 2017, as demand in the Middle East, Africa and Asian markets is resilient.

The giant automaker had posted sales increase in the January-June period by 10.4% comparing to the same period previous year.

During the mentioned period, the Asia-Pacific region absorbed 100,452%, while in China; it sold about 36,000 vehicles, due to strong performance of New Koleos launched in late 2016 and produced locally.

However, member of the Executive Committee and Group Executive Vice President in Renault said: "We set a new record... Our sales volumes and market share increased for all our brands and in all regions. Our strategy of range renewal and geographical expansion continues to produce results."
