Emir issues instruments of ratification


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani issued the following instruments of ratification:
1. Instrument of ratification endorsing the ratification of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on co-operation in the field of health and medical sciences between the governments of Qatar and Turkey, which was signed in Trabzon on December 18, 2016.
2. Instrument of ratification endorsing the ratification of an MoU on co-operation in the field of organising exhibitions between the governments of Qatar and Turkey, which was signed in Trabzon on December 18, 2016.
3. Instrument of ratification endorsing a draft co-operation agreement in the field of environment and nature protection between the governments of Qatar and Croatia, which was signed in Doha on April 23, 2017.
4. Instrument of ratification endorsing the ratification of an MoU on co-operation in the fields of youth and sports between the governments of Qatar and Serbia, which was signed in Doha on November 7, 2016.
5. Instrument of ratification endorsing the ratification of a co-operation agreement in the cultural field between the governments of Qatar and Serbia, which was signed in Doha on November 7, 2016.
6. Instrument of ratification endorsing the ratification of a memorandum of co-operation in the field of agriculture between the Ministry of Municipality and Environment of Qatar and the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection of Serbia, which was signed in Doha on November 7, 2016.
7. Instrument of ratification endorsing a draft protocol on amending some provisions of an aviation agreement between the governments of Qatar and the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was signed in Doha on May 5, 2017.

Cabinet decisionsratified

His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani yesterday ratified the following Cabinet Decisions:
1.Cabinet Decision No 27 of 2017 on establishing the technical committee to examine the indices of international reports on the business environment in Qatar.
2. Cabinet Decision No 28 and No 29 of 2017 on the expropriation of some real estate for public good.
The decisions are effective from the date of their publication in the official gazette.

Qatar-Iraq tiesreviewed


HE the Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry Dr Ahmed bin Hassan al-Hammadi met Dr Abdulsattar al-Janabi, the charge d'affaires of the Iraqi embassy in Qatar yesterday. They reviewed relations between Qatar and Iraq and ways of developing them, in addition to matters of mutual interest.
