(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 17 (KUNA) -- Equate Petrochemical Company signed a cooperation protocol on Monday with Kuwait's Ministry of Health to strengthen the partnership between the Ministry and the company.
Corporate & Government Services Leader at EQUATE Yaqoub Al-Kandari said in a press statement that this partnership reflects the strategy of the company, which seeks to achieve positive progress and development in cooperation with various institutions and segments of society, in particular the Ministry of Health.
"The Ministry of Health is one of the main pillars of EQUATE's sustainable development strategy.", Al-Kandari added.
He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Health, in particular to Undersecretary Dr. Mohammed Al-Khashti and Dr. Majda Al-Qattan for their active role and efforts to provide the best medical services in Kuwait.
For her part, Assistant Undersecretary of the Health Ministry Dr. Majda Al-Qattan stressed that the ministry is investing all efforts to serve the Kuwaiti society, adding that signing a cooperation protocol with a leading industrial organization such as EQUATE is part of these efforts.
EQUATE has launched a number of health and awareness initiatives in partnetship with Ministry of health, such as EQUATE Breast Cancer Awareness Program (Keep Your Life Rosy), EQUATE's Initiative for a Healthy Society (Lighten Up), EQUATE Hypertension Awareness Campaign (Stay Normal) and EQUATE Diabetes Awareness Campaign (Stay Normal 2).
