Villarreal loan Qatar's Afif to Kas Eupen
Madrid: Villarreal have announced reaching an agreement with Belgian club KAS Eupen for loaning Qatari striker Akram Afif (pictured below), which he previously played for, on loan from Qatar's Al Sadd.
Villarreal had loaned the 20-year-old to Sporting Gijon last season.
Villarreal agreed to let Afif leave on loan to the Belgian side, which had managed to qualify with them for the Belgian First Division, but the contract did not include the right to buy the Qatari striker.
