AMMAN —AlGhad— A 17-year old died of the wounds and injuries he sustained when parts of a building vertically collapsed all of a sudden earlier today, Thursday, in Jabal Al Nasr, East of Amman. Emergency units with the Civil Defence Department (CDD) reported to the scene of the collapse and evacuated residents of the neighbourhood were evacuated.
Meanwhile, an investigation committee was assigned by the respective bodies to uncover the cause of the collapse.
The Director of the CDD, Maj Gen Mustafa Bazayaa, was present on site.
