Saudi Arabia spends USD217mln in fish farming in Gulf, Red Sea


(MENAFN) A Saudi official in the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture confirmed that their fish farming company signed deals with four local companies to inject SR800mln into fish farming projects.

According to the official, several studies were conducted and carried out to determine locations for their projects, and he confirmed that the projects will be established between the Makkah region and Jazan.

Also he said the minister aims to increase fish production through aquatic farming by 15-20 tons.
