Kuwait gives USD709mn infrastructure project deal


(MENAFN) Kuwait has awarded infrastructure projects at USD709mn in the South Maltaa area of the country.

Furthermore, a Chinese firm has been roped in for the development works involving the building of 18.000 housing units and road projects in the new city.

The deal comes on the heels of many agreements in the housing and communications sectors, and shows the positive outcome of the visit.

Currently, Chinese tech and smartphone giant Huawei will be installing the second phase of a fiber optics project in the country.
