Chinese visitors to Morocco jump by 760pct
(MENAFN) Almost 3.8mn tourists visited Morocco between Jan and May this year, a 9 percent jump from the same period of 2016.
Moreover, the number of foreign tourists grew by 12.3 percent, whereas the number of Moroccans living abroad increased by 3.4 percent.
Additionally, Chinese tourists in Morocco grew by 760 percent; evidence the Moroccan tourism industry's broadening global pull.
Meanwhile, Japanese tourists increased by 45 percent compared to the same period of 2016, S. Korea by 42 percent and Brazilians by 35 percent.
