Bank Sohar revenues jump by 20pct in Q2


(MENAFN) The fiscal statements of Bank Sohar showed a 20 percent increase in its revenues for the second quarter of this year, compared to the year-ago period.

Furthermore, the bank's profits hit USD14.44mn in the cited period, compared to OMR12.04mn in the same period of last year.

In addition, the Omani bank's profits increased 31.3 percent in H1, 2017 to OMR11.57mn, compared to OMR8.81mn in the first half of 2016.

However, operating revenues fell 5.6 percent, reaching OMR18.2mn in H1, this year, compared to OMR19.2mn in the same period of 2016.
