UAE completes two new water projects in Yemen

LAHIJ, 12th July, 2017 (WAM) -- The Emirates Red Crescent has completed two new water projects in Yemen as part of the UAE's continuous support of the brotherly people in Yemen.

The projects saw the restoration of an old building belonging to the water authority in the Al Hawatah district of the Lahij Governorate, and the construction of a wall and water pumping station in the Saber district. The projects were recently inaugurated in the presence of the Governor of Lahij, Dr. Nasser Al Khubji, a number of local officials and citizens.

Locals expressed their thanks to the UAE for its support to the Yemeni people across many sectors and for helping Yemeni provinces meet their basic needs.
