(MENAFN) Many years after hosting batches of wounded Libyans, who came to Jordan aiming treatment amid the civil war, private hospitals are still waiting to be repaid.

Furthermore, Libyan authorities" outstanding charges to Private hospitals over medical bills reached USD300mn.

However, despite welcoming a number of delegations showing many Libyan bodies to discuss the matter over the past few months, the issue has remained unresolved.

Currently, the government's decision to restrict visa issuance for a number of nationalities has hit the medical tourism hard, paving the way for other nations to become a favored destination for healthcare tourism.
