Oman- Waljat College of Applied Sciences to host second Open Day on July 12


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- With the overwhelming response from the first Open Day and for the benefit of the prospective students from Oman, Waljat College of Applied Sciences (WCAS), a seventeen year old premier educational institution in the country, will be conducting its second Open Day activity and course counselling session on Wednesday, July 12 from 9.30am to 4.30pm at the Video Conference Facility, located in Block 3 in the college premises.

Prospective candidates registering on this day will be benefitted by a waiver of the application processing fee. They can also avail the opportunity to attend two free workshops delivered by experts on soft skills and personality development.

'The available infrastructure and the quality of the programme offered by WCAS and the presence of the proud alumni around the globe in leading universities and organisations is our strength and it indicates the universal acceptance of the degrees offered by WCAS,' said Prof (Dr) S L Gupta, dean. He also stated that the college is following the same curriculum and maintaining the same academic standards as adopted by BIT, Ranchi, India.

Established in 2001 by industrialist and philanthropist, Dr Omar al Zawawi, Waljat College functions in academic partnership with BIT. The college campus is located in Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM). The degrees and diplomas offered are duly recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education.
