Video: Male Nurse Caught on Camera Punching Elderly Man in Canada
(MENAFN- Morocco World News) Rabat – A personal care worker at a care home in Ottawa was caught on camera punching an elderly patient seven times in the face while removing his diaper.
The video shows 44-year old Jie Xiao punching 89-year old George Karam, a Lebanese patient, who suffers from Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease.
The family of the elderly man decided to install a surveillance camera in Karam's room at Garry J Armstrong care home after they noticed unexplained injuries on his body since he moved there two years ago.The footage was provided by Karam's family to
"The care worker pleaded guilty to assault on July 4, and sentencing is expected to be held later this year."
