Kuwait to issue USD79bn into key oil projects


(MENAFN) Kuwait Oil Co. will spend almost USD79bn in the coming five years, as part of its plans to enhance the output capacity to 4mn bpd, from 3.1mn bpd recently.

Additionally, the firm, one of the globe's largest crude exporters, had given deals worth USD25.37bn between 2014 and last year.

Furthermore, deals worth almost KD8.25bn were awarded in 2014, whereas those inked in 2015 reached almost USD10.9bn.

Last year, contracts inked were far below the previous two years, with their value standing almost KD1.9bn.
