Beirut airport sees growth in traffic by 7% in H1

(MENAFN) Beirut's airport, Rafik Hariri International Airport, had seen an increase in traffic in H1 of 2017 by 7%, and from January to June, around 3.5 million passengers passed through the airport.

A source from the airport said: "It is expected that the airport will see more traffic during the coming weeks and months," because several national, Arab and international airlines that pass through the airport are adding flights in order to accommodate more passengers.

However, the number of expatriates passing through the airport increased, as did the number of emigrants, while the number of transit passengers fell.
