ABU DHABI, 3rd July, 2017 (WAM) -- The 2017 Abu Dhabi Summer Season, organised by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, TCA Abu Dhabi, will feature a range of family entertainment shows, promotional events and awards by hotels and shopping centres, as well as tourist attractions in the emirate.
Abu Dhabi Summer Season 2017 will be held from 20th July to 20th August. It is expected to attract visitors and residents through a comprehensive assortment of activities in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
Abu Dhabi will host famous comedian Mike Epps for the first time in the Middle East at the Al Raha Beach Theatre on 18th August. Abu Dhabi Summer Season will also offer an opportunity to win one of five BMW cars on a weekly basis, or special promotional packages that include a two-night stay in a 5-star hotel when spending over AED200 or more between 14th July and 20th August.
Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will host a group of famous cartoon characters, including Tom and Jerry, in an exciting show. Children can also participate in a fascinating experience, "The Cheese Maze," at Dalma Mall in Abu Dhabi.
Marking the 70th Indian Independence Day, Namaste Group, led by Salim and Sulaiman, will perform at the Emirates Palace on 18th August. They will recreate a charming Bollywood trip in the presence of 20 Bollywood stars who will meet in Abu Dhabi.
The season will also host the famous Ninja Turtles, Michelangelo, Donatello, Rafael and Leonardo whose names were inspired by the Italian Renaissance period in an adventure to combat crime in New York City.
Within the framework of the preparations for the 14th edition of the 2017 World Cup, Abu Dhabi Summer Season will also present a range of promotional activities to test the skills of sports enthusiasts in speed, ball-kicking power and ability to jump from 6th to 8th July and 3rd to 5th August at Bawadi Mall in Al Ain.
