(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- As Oman Avenues Mall brought to a close what proved to be a very popular 'Together this Ramadan' campaign for the month of Ramadan, the mall also went on to celebrate a memorable Eid al Fitr.
Oman Avenues Mall, the sultanate's premier shopping and lifestyle destination, invited families and friends in Oman, from all cultural backgrounds, to come and join all of the festivities.
At the end of June, the five days of Eid al Fitr celebrations included family entertainment and shows such as a colourful Tanoura dancer and live performances by the international artist Paco – 'the two-headed man' – as well as various other Eid al Fitr-themed events.
From the end of May until the end of June, Oman Avenues Mall's 'Together this Ramadan' campaign also brought together the people of Oman with attractions such as the 'Explore the Wonders of the Universe' planetarium installation in the Main Atrium area, which hosted innumerable children.
The planetarium offered the opportunity for families and their kids to explore the wonders of the universe while watching a series of fascinating shows about the planets and stars.
Another highlight at the mall was the very popular qaranqasho kids' event, which took place on the 14th night of Ramadan.
To extend the spirit of qaranqasho, sweets, as well as prayers for good health and well-being, were also given to the children and paediatric hospitals who could not join in the celebrations.
In addition, the mall also hosted a series of teachings of Islam and blessings of the month of Ramadan.
The Oman Avenues Mall 'Together this Ramadan' campaign, and five-day Eid al Fitr celebrations took place with Omantel as the official activity partner.
