Saudi Arabia predicts SAR2.7bn from expats this year


(MENAFN) The Saudi Ministry of Interior's National Info Center proclaimed that 2.22 expat dependents are living in KSA with 11.12mn expats working in the private sector.

Moreover, they are projected to pay charges of almost SAR2.66bn between July 1 this year and 30 June 2018, at SAR1.200 per person.

Accordingly, the issuance of exit and re-entry visas for expatriates and the renewal of residence permits will not be made unless fees levied on dependents of foreign employees.

The kingdom started allocating fees from expatriates working in the kingdom at SAR100 per month that will grow gradually yearly.
